What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!
Each race benefits a difference charity
For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.

What can I say? I spent all of my childhood in New England (born in MA, raised in VT and vacationed in ME) and love the states! Of course I love the lobster on the medal since that is in my favorite of all Maine memories,,,,Southwest Harbor, Beal's Lobster Pier, fresh from the boats and absolutely delicious, Nice to see Acadia on the medal too. I always wanted to run the half marathon there, but alas, my knees no longer work, so I guess that's not going to happen. Anyway, thanks for the whole Race Through America series. I'm planning to get them all! :-)
