I was supposed to do a half marathon in Colorado during my visit there. However it was extremely hot and in the altitude I did not think it was a good idea to participate in the half I signed up for. The hotel had a gym and I quickly got online and ordered the Colorado medal and did the half on the treadmill. It was perfect!

This was my first virtual race. It was pouring rain in Tampa, Fl so walked 5K in the mall. Took 66min and my total was 3.3 miles. Over 7 800 steps. Cant wait for my next one and hopefully a bit faster.

I liked this medal. The design plays on a well known phrase,yet clearly emphasizes the cause of eradicating cancers. A subject very near my heart this year. I purchased more than one and will encourage family members to participate with me in memory of our loved one.
