National Gardening Day on April 14th encourages gardeners and would-be gardeners to pick up a shovel, plant some seeds, and kick off a beautiful year of homegrown bounty. Help us raise awareness for this amazing day with our first ever Welcome to My Garden 1M 5K 10K 13.1, 26.2!
At least 15% of every registration to Growing Hope Globally, an amazing organization that links the grassroots energy and commitment of rural communities in the U.S. with the capability and desire of smallholder farmers in developing countries to grow lasting solutions to hunger.What: This is a 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2 virtual run (or walk) to celebrate gardening! You choose which distance you want to complete!
When: Complete your race any time in 2025, even better if it's April 14th!
*Medals and bibs will start shipping out mid-February. After that they will ship out within 2 to 5 days of signing up.
Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!
Each race benefits a difference charity
For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
