Your giant probably doesn't stand nine feet tall.

But that doesn't mean it isn't real.

Fear.

HOW DOES THE VIRTUAL RACE WORK?

1. CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE

Choose the challenge that's right for you:

1 Mile | 5K | 10K | 13.1 Miles | 26.2 Miles

Your giant doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

Neither does your distance.

2. COMPLETE YOUR MILES

Run, walk, jog or hike your chosen distance anytime between June 1 and December 31, 2026.

Complete your challenge:

• Around your neighborhood
• At a local park
• On your favorite trail
• At the gym
• On a treadmill
• On a running track
• During another organized race

3. FACE IT YOUR WAY

Walk every mile.

Run for a personal record.

Invite someone to join you.

Or use the time alone for prayer and reflection.

There is no crowded starting line and no required pace.

4. SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS

Track your distance and finishing time and submit your results through Virtual Run Events.

5. CELEBRATE YOUR VICTORY

Reach your finish line and celebrate the fact that you stepped forward instead of standing still.

You could even ask everyone before beginning:
