WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE THE WAY FORWARD

Sometimes life puts us in places where every direction seems impossible.

Maybe you're facing a decision you don't know how to make.

A goal that feels out of reach.

A season that won't seem to end.

A door that keeps closing.

Or a situation where you simply don't know what comes next.

The Israelites knew that feeling.

Behind them was an army.

In front of them was a sea.

From where they stood, there was no way forward.

But what looked impossible to them wasn't impossible to God.

The sea parted.

Dry ground appeared.

And the obstacle became the path.

Sometimes faith means taking the next step before you understand how the whole journey will unfold.

God didn't simply remove the Red Sea.

He made a path directly through it.

The very thing standing between the Israelites and freedom became part of their journey toward it.

That's a message worth carrying into our own difficult seasons.

The challenge in front of you may not disappear overnight.

The path may not look the way you expected.

But you can keep moving forward.

HOW DOES THE VIRTUAL RACE WORK?

1. CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE

Choose the challenge that's right for you:

1 Mile | 5K | 10K | 13.1 Miles | 26.2 Miles

Whether you're beginning with one mile or challenging yourself to conquer 26.2, choose a distance that means something to you.

2. COMPLETE YOUR MILES

Run, walk, jog or hike your chosen distance anytime between August 1 and December 31, 2026. 

Complete your challenge around your neighborhood, at a local park, on your favorite trail, at the gym, on a treadmill, on a track or wherever works best for you.

3. MOVE FORWARD IN FAITH

Walk every mile.

Run for a personal record.

Invite someone to join you.

Pray as you go.

Or use the quiet miles to reflect on whatever obstacle you're currently facing.

There is no crowded starting line and no required pace.

Your race. Your pace. Your journey of faith.

4. SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS

Track your distance and finishing time and submit your results through Virtual Run Events.

5. CELEBRATE

Reach your finish line and celebrate another challenge completed.
