Every year on October 1, International Raccoon Appreciation Day celebrates one of nature's most clever, curious, mischievous and misunderstood animals — the raccoon!

You can complete the Unhinged and Feral Virtual Race anytime during 2026, but October 1 is the perfect day to grab your running shoes and celebrate International Raccoon Appreciation Day with some wonderfully feral miles.
